FAMILY MEDIATION

Family mediation covers all disputes between members of the same family, such as those between spouses in divorce/separation in de facto cohabitation/, brother and sister in division of inheritance, voluntary division, relations between grandparents and their grandchildren and many other related cases with the family.

A number of studies have shown that conflict between parents is what causes the most long-term harm to children, so we aim to promote understanding and reduce conflict for the sake of all family members. By providing family mediation services, we also aim to support the continuing relationship between mum, dad and their children, and to protect and protect the interests and well-being of the children, by reaching the best decision for them regarding the exercise of parental rights and the right of each parent to contact them.

The mandatory issues that should be discussed during divorce/separation mediation are:

  • The place of residence of the child/children/;
  • The exercise of parental rights;
  • Personal relationships;
  • Maintenance of the child/children/;

Additional issues that may be discussed during divorce mediation are:

  • Maintenance between spouses

  • The trip of the child/children/ outside of Bulgaria;
