  1. MEDIATION CENTER EUROPE is a center providing mediation services between two or more disputing parties by highly qualified mediators who work according to established international rules and standards for conducting mediation.
  2. MEDIATION CENTER EUROPE is identified by BULSTAT 181015648, its headquarters are in the city of Sofia, Marin Todorv St. 4A, but all mediation procedures take place in specialized office premises, other than the indicated address, depending on the wishes of the client, the city, the specifics of the case and the number of parties involved.
  3. All mediators strictly observe the principles of mediation – voluntariness, equality, neutrality, impartiality and confidentiality.
  4. This Privacy Policy aims to inform you which of your personal data we process, when, why and under what circumstances MEDIATION CENTER EUROPE collects, processes and stores personal data of its clients in the course of its professional activity. Additional information may be provided when necessary when requesting a service offered by us.

We would like to inform you that we collect and process your personal data, which is a necessary prerequisite and mandatory for the preparation, or conclusion and execution of a Mediation Agreement, provided for by the current legislation of the Republic of Bulgaria.

If you are unwilling to provide them to us, we would not be able to consider your request to initiate a mediation process.

YOU ARE SUBJECT TO THIS POLICY IN THE FOLLOWING CASES:

  1. This Privacy Policy applies to you ("You") if you are:
  • a participant in a mediation process applied to us by you or accepted by you;
  • a family member, representative, proxy, expert of a participant in a mediation process led by us, the data for whom is a mandatory and/or necessary prerequisite for starting and carrying out the requested mediation;
  • a person who is interested in our services when you have provided us with your personal data so that we can contact you;

When you provide us with personal data relating to other people, please ensure that you inform them of the disclosure of their personal data and invite them to read this Policy. We will ensure that we do the same where possible (for example, when we have the person's contact details).

YOUR RIGHTS AND HOW YOU CAN EXERCISE THEM

  1. You have the right to access your personal data – If you wish to access your personal data, we will provide you with a copy of the personal data you requested, as well as information related to its processing;

THE PURPOSES FOR WHICH WE COLLECT YOUR PERSONAL DATA

When we base the processing activity on a legitimate interest, we balance that interest against your interests or fundamental rights and freedoms to ensure that there is a balance between them.

  1. MEDIATION CENTER EUROPE does not profile your personal data in any form

WHAT PERSONAL DATA WE PROCESS

  1. MEDIATION CENTER EUROPE collects only the following types of personal data about you
  • identification information: three names, TIN and ID number, (TIN and ID number only in case you want us to draw up a formal written agreement.)
  • contact and contact information (for example, phone numbers to contact you, including third parties who represent you or are necessary participants in the mediation process, postal address and e-mail address);
  • marital status and related parties (eg marital status, details of related parties, number of children);

SHARING OF PERSONAL DATA

  1. Your personal data can be provided to third parties, solely and only in connection with the mediation procedure and our performance of the service you want - e.g. to the court, in the event that the mediation is conducted on a pending legal dispute; to a notary – in case you wish to have the agreement notarized; by courier – in case we need to send by courier a document related to the mediation procedure.
  2. MEDIATION CENTER EUROPE does not sell or rent your personal data to third parties for any purpose.
  3. MEDIATION CENTER EUROPE can provide your personal data to state institutions only in the cases expressly provided for by law.
  4. MEDIATION CENTER EUROPE does not transfer data outside the European Economic Area.
  5. MEDIATION CENTER EUROPE will not use your personal data for marketing purposes on the communication channels provided by you, unless you have given your express consent to this.

 

STORAGE OF PERSONAL DATA

  1. Your personal data is stored by the MEDIATION CENTER EUROPE only in connection with the purpose for which it was provided, namely providing the mediation service.
  2. Your personal data is stored for a period bound by the current legislation, for the purpose of certifying the periods for starting, suspending and terminating a mediation process
  3. After achieving the purposes for which it was used and after the expiration of the terms provided for in the normative acts, your personal data is destroyed.

COOKIE POLICY ( cookies)

   26. Dispute Resolution Center uses cookies. "Cookies" are small individual packets of information sent to your computer to recognize you when you visit. They collect statistics about your browsing activities. This allows us to track user traffic patterns as well as develop statistical analyzes of service usage, such as time spent on the website and pages most frequently visited. Cookies help us improve the website and provide a better personalized service.
